Lae zel build reddit Does anyone have suggestions on what I could do with these two? I'll probably do this on Tactician or Balanced, so the builds don't need to be super min-maxed but being powerful would be a nice bonus! I keep reading about everyone’s build for Lae’zel that hits 11 times in a turn and I can’t figure out how they got there. I'm at that point where I'm experimenting with different builds and playing my first Fighter. I really like this build because the vengeance paladin seems really great from an RP perspective for where I am (very beginning of Act 3) and stays true to what I'm thinking of Lae'zel's whole aesthetic. Karlach - Same as Lae'zel, anything that has her as a frontline warrior would work. Lae’zel (or any Gith) holds the answer. I mean, battlemaster is the best fighter subclass. Like I don’t even see it anywhere. This isn’t a jack-of-all-trades build. I’d prefer to have Gale or Karlach - but Lae’Zel just does so much damage! Plus the mountain pass adds a lot of story for her. So my main character (me) is a human Paladin, my companions (dont laugh) are Shadowheart cleric/light domain build and Karlach, up front damage dealer and then Lae'zel at the back with the bow. 12/12 mono class or go for 11/1 war cleric. r/BaldursGate3. Also consider a weapon she gets in A3 Silver_Sword_of_the_Astral_Plane that works only for gith is BiS for the op Pallock 2H build where as Balduran's Giantslayer is BiS for most str based 2H builds Combat with Lae'zel is simple - she applies the Oil of Bane to her weapon, goes running in and hits enemies. Asterion makes a good bard/rogue. I like Lae,zel, she is a prick at first but then you realize that her entire race is like that, they are born and raised like this, she doesn't know anything else, but the more you play with her and the more you teach her about mercy, morals and the goodness inside the other races you can see how she starts to understand and become softer, she still retains her bad Planning to reclass Lae'zel for second playthrough, what class or multiclass makes most sense thematically for Lae'zel besides Fighter? I know Cleric of Vlaakith exists for Gith, but thematically that kind of falls apart after Act 1. Best lvl 1 EK spells are Longstrider, Protection From Good and Evil, and Shield. Monk, Way of the Open Hand: This is simply reimagining Lae’zel as a Githzerai who utilizes martial arts much like Prince Orpheus This may seem weird, but i always thought of war cleric as a great 1 level dib. Then do the "Draw on the Zeith'isk's power, take it as your own" Arcana Check (DC31 at tactician difficulty) at the end. With Precision Attack, Bless, Phalar Aluve Sing, and Invoke Duplicity which gives advantage on attack roll, Lae'zel will hit hard with +10 damage from GWM. But in both cases, the barbarian is raging and as such takes half damage from basically everything, whereas Lae'zel will take full damage on the cases she gets hit. The original hub of information and discussion on Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate… - A fighter dip to Shadowheart, so she can disapproves Lae'zel more intensely, like twice on a turn? - With the above mentioned competition, Lae'zel is going to need some RRRRAAAAAGEEEE stares, won't she? - Wyll, the Sorcerer? Or the Bard? - Is daddy Halsin calm and well tempered as a Monk? Or is he succumbing to the RAGE after imprisonment? At 4 you can bump Lae'zel's STR to 18 and her Dex to 14 which makes her more likely to hit, deal more damage when she hits, more likely to succeed on her shove attempts/resist enemy shove attempts, maxes out her AC in medium armor, increases her initiative rolls, and increases her odds to succeed against enemies spells that require DEX saves. I can't think of anything better than just going 12 levels as a Battle Master fighter. My Lae’zel is 12th level straight fighter, and she only hits twice, and action surge isn’t even on my menu of options. Baldur's Gate 3 Lae'Zel Companion Build, Champion Fighter Build guide - best abilities, skills and equipment. I don't want to change her class or anything, just want to know what abilities and feats will make her the best fighter. They also could be apart of Lae'zel's storyline if she ever breaks from Vlakkith's indoctrination A community all about Baldur's Gate III, the role-playing video game by Larian Studios. I think it depends on the build you’re going to give lae’zel. With a Barbarian multi-class, Lae'zel can turn into the classic "crit fisher" - champion fighter 3, Berserker Barbarian 9 - you crit on a 19, you have reckless attacks to give yourself advantage, and you've got the great weapon fighting style. With a little bit of a dip into fighter, probably 3 to 4 max. true. . Metamagic is OP and having more spells don't mean much to me since I tend to use the same spells. I've never played a Fighter in any of my DnD games (off- or online) before so I'm really at a loss on how to skill Lae'zel. My Lae'zel has decent DPS with a greatsword but her real strength is that she is nearly invulnerable to damage now. She is disciplined and fight for ideals and not religion. Does Champion get better or should I send her to Withers and change her to a Bm or new class entirely? I personally won’t go for Polearm Master just because it doesn’t fit the kind of fighter I want to build, but any 1 of these alone or combination of them is really good. Though I could see him as a fiendlock with Raphael as his patron for your head canon. They are essentially just a normal fighter, but with a lot of extra tankiness with the addition of shield/absorb elements. I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me figure out what her strongest, but lore friendly, build is. Hiya! I want to try to make Lae’zel a monk this go-around because I want her to wear the laughing amulet and have a little giggle. Lae'zel could be a Barbarian, Berserker, or even Ranger. I currently have Lae'zel as GWM battle master and Karlach exactly the same. So I’m doing an evil run and tbh I wanted to respect lae’zel into a more magic based build since I plan on my pc and probably minthara as my front… As the title says I'm looking at rebuilding Lae'zel as a paladin. I just reached level 11 in early act 3 and I'm looking to re-spec Lae'zel for the rest of act III into a hybrid thrower / melee build. 5K votes, 53 comments. The core competency of this build is battlefield control. Awesome. At first I wanted to make her a Monk, but decided to try that build on Karlach instead, in order to utilize her race/soul coin abilities. Lae'zel is your boss killer with high single target damage and burst thanks to action surge. I’ve tried multiple times now to do a Lae’Zel origin run. Karlach has some nice synergy with her Inferno Chips and she don't really wears Armor usually so thats a plus. The problem I have is this: it is VERY hard to roleplay as Lae’Zel for me. This gives her resistance against ALL damage types in the game. Minthara - Gloomstalker Ranger could fit the "relentless huntress" vibe. Not appearing until they meant to. It can't get much better than this assuming it even can. Melee Warlock could work too if you pretend that it's a pact made to the Absolute. If you give Lae'zel Sentinel on top of that, then she gets a reaction attack when they attack the Paladin. My first idea was to run her as Paladin (pallock) but I feel like it doesn't suit her very well. All of this stuff should just be automatic. My lae‘zel is a monk fighter rogue TB and she slaps super hard. Thematically, probably EK. This ability costs an action, and in exchange you can jump 3x as far that turn. Tavern brawler strength build is insanely over powered (either go full dex and use strength elixirs, or dump dex and go full armour & shield) I personally found a high dex and wisdom build, with no tavern brawler or armor to be very strong. Compel Duel forces them to attack the Paladin. Lae'zel is a very strong companion and a good choice to build around. She had never known kindness, has to fight her entire creche to the death, only knows her kind as fellow soldiers and other races as something to subdue and has been infected by their biggest nemesis and turning into something she fears and hates. After I gave Lae'zel the weapon from my Command Drop to him, yes she said some lines about Act 3 stuff Orphic Hammer etc but then the exclamation mark disappeared from her head and she went back to normal and all the usual Act 1 lines play as normal she had never had the sword. Wyll works as a Warlock / Paladin or Warlock / Sword Bard. I have a different build I’m working for Shadowheart, I’ll be presenting either this week or next. So they have to attack the Paladin, at disadvantage. Oct 25, 2024 · Basically what the title says. It comes down to what you want to do with her. Hasted Bae’zel is a sight to behold. Best BG3 Lae'Zel Build. Pretty straightforward as everyone knows 11 Fighter+ is already one of the strongest martials, and there's no reason to build away from this for Lae'zel. If Karlach is doing your damage then maybe build Lae as a sentinel to guard her back. 3 days ago · Enjoy playing as The best Lae’zal Build in Baldur’s Gate 3! It'll work the exact same. Hi Baldurians! My main character is a barbarian, and so far my preferred team goes as follow: Gale Asturion Shadowheart I find both characters of Lae’zel and Karlach intriguing and I want to do their quest lines, but heavy two heavy hitters on a team while compromising it with spellcaster, thief/shooter or a healer is not a perfect solutions. Champion is very simple and hits hard. What the title says. You can play as our favorite angsty rebel and be proficient in every skill. Why would Lae’Zel help the grove instead of heading straight to the Lae'Zel is Githyanki, so she should get medium armor and short/long/great swords from her race. Lae’zel left me because I chose to become a mindflayer to spare Orpheus of such a fate and for the betterment of the Githyanki as a whole. as for ranger/rogue, it's a bit of a curveball, not gonna lie. Karlach TB thrower for range and shart as supporter, it’s a great party for a „no chance for the opposition“ playthrough because fights end within 2 turns without haste. Thematically she should be an eldritch knight, however I typically like to build her as a battle master that stays close to my main caster to disrupt/kill enemies that get too close. Lae'zel (excluding a gith tav or the gith from withers) is the only character who can use some pretty sick gith gear, including the sword you have and the one you might get for her in act iii (which is also 2H). If you want her to have resistance against everything, you give her 3 levels into barbarian for wildheart bear rage and give her the astral plane sword or the psionic ward armor. I’m running Lae’Zel as an Eldritch Knight and it’s so good I didn’t notice the permanent zaithisk debuff bug until I respecced her at lvl 12 lmao. The Githyanki are already so rare and the githzerai even more so. To me I could see them working behind the scenes as elusive as the wind. " dialog options, which do not require Checks. You can also into double attack second turn which will outperform hex into eldritch blast. Specifically for Lae'zel, I want some INT because Astral Knowledge (Intelligence) gives proficiency in 5 skills and some bonus to those is nice to have. If you're building for DPS then don't go with shield, it will nearly half your damage. Lae'zel gets her own bonuses that also aren't particularly important to the build, though using psionic leap to get high ground crushing bonuses ain't bad. I’m in my second playthrough and looking for a cool new build for Lae'zel.
